Nokia has launched two new 3G enabled slider mobile phones, the Nokia Slide 6700 and Nokia 7230 in India.  These two new sets look stylish and are available at an affordable range.
Nokia 6700 Slide
The Nokia Slide 6700 is a fresh line-up from the company that is being released in six colour variants like red, pink, purple, lime, petrol blue and aluminum grey. The set weighs 110 grams only and has solid aluminium finish. It boasts of features such as 2.2 inch QVGA screen, built-in FM radio, music player and memory of up to 16 GB with microSD card slot. There is also a 5 MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens and dual LED flash to provide pictures with good contrast. Users can also access OVI and share their photos and videos.
The Slide 6700 can offer 4 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time. The set also has music back up to 29 hours. The phone is priced at Rs 11,500 in India.
The Nokia 7230 is also a chic handset with hordes of features. The set sports a 2.4 inch TFT display along with features like FM radio, Built-in Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, microSD card with 2GB memory and 3.2 MP camera with 4 x digital zoom and dedicated camera key. The handset is also a good platform for fast photo and video sharing with Ovi, Facebook and Flickr.
The 7230 has 4.1 hours of talk time and 14.3 days of standby time. The set is available in two colour options such as hot pink and graphite black. And, the price is also kept aggressively at Rs 7000 for Indian customers. Hopefully, this 3G set would be a huge hit among the youth in the country.

Nokia C7 Nokia's first 8MP full touch cameraphone called the C7 has just popped up. It is the middle level device that comes between the 5MP cameraphones and the 12MP cameraphone called the N8.
The C7 has the design of the sexy Android-based Motorola XT800 ZHISHANG, which was revealed in December 2009.  It will run the S60 5th Edition and may be packed with an 8MP snapper with dual LED flash and stereo speakers.
Apart from that, the device would carry a secondary camera on the right above the display. The set has a dazzling metallic frame with a 3.5mm audio jack on top of the phone.
However, there might be many more in the store and you have to keep patience to unlock the secrets of the unannounced Nokia devices like E6, E7, X5, X7 and N9.

Nokia C6-01 There is a new Nokia mobile phone, C6-01that has come out before its announcement.
The name suggests that the C6-01 is a slight upgraded version of the rather popular C6. The new handset incorporates an 8MP autofocus camera and dual-LED flash, compared to a 5MP camera with a single LED on the first C6. However, the name is also in the lineup of an awkward naming convention by the company.
New Nokia model brings changes in its back panel. Apart from that, the set bears Symbian^1 OS, rather than the upcoming Symbian^3.
As per the information, the Nokia C6-01 will be available in black and whiteversions and the price will be about 280 euro initially.

Nokia has unveiled its new the beta version of Ovi Browser for Series 40 phones targeting its low-end mobile phones. The new version comes with improved features that offer advanced and rich browsing experience.

“We’re excited to introduce the Ovi Browser beta for Series 40 phones to help meet the needs of mobile Internet users in emerging markets and around the world. We believe users of Series 40 should be entitled to rich web browsing experiences like those of smartphones, but without the same price tag,” the company said in a blog.

The company boasts of delivering advanced web pages in less time than ever to mobile phones through its Internet compression technology.

With its innovative interface the browsers’ favourite web pages can now be directly accessed without having to browse through much across the pages.

Nokia’s Ovi Internet service is an application used for web browsing from mobile devices and computers. The application works through Ovi.com and Nokia offers its services in Games, Messaging, Maps, Music and Media.

Nokia C6 Smartphone Launched In The UK
Nokia C6

Nokia has launched the C6 slider smartphone in the UK for £289 that can be availed directly from its website.

The C6 looks similar to the earlier N900 and sports a full QWERTY keyboard. It bears a nice specs sheet and is powered with Symbian S60. Strangely, Nokia has sidelined its latest Maemo OS.

Maemo was developed by Nokia for smartphones and Internet Tablets, which is based on the Debian Linux distribution.

Nokia C6 comes with a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen and incorporates many features like a 5MP camera with Flash, AGPS, 200MB internal memory and microSD card up to 16GB.

The handset will be released on contract through Vodafone, T-Mobile and Carphone Warehouse within the next few days.

Mark Loughran, the managing director of Nokia UK, said, "The Nokia C6 offers style and connectivity. Whether it's via email, the web, social networks or IM, you are always connected."

Nokia will be in stiff competition now as O2 is also offering the HTC Desire for the same price without any contract upgrades. The same phone can be collected for around £319 SIM Free.
